On 24 and 25 July 2025, the latest meeting of the MiRoVA consortium took place at the Institute of Transport Studies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The aim of the two-day event was to strengthen interdisciplinary exchange on key issues at the intersection of human, machines and road traffic. The focus was on topics such as the integration of traffic and driving simulation, the technical implementation of automated driving functions, and the modelling of human behaviour in the context of automated mobility. In this context, various software solutions were compared and a joint strategy for the use of suitable tools was developed to enable the seamless integration of the systems.

In order to further promote interdisciplinary cooperation, the participants also initiated the development of a common terminology. This is intended to create a consistent language that does justice to the diverse technical perspectives within the MiRoVA project.

The Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors looks forward to continuing its cooperation with all project partners.
