At this year's FAS workshop at Irsee Monastery, the IAD presented key findings from the Campus FreeCity project. The focus: design recommendations for human-machine interfaces in the operation centers of automated vehicle fleets.

From 31 March to 2 April, the 16th Workshop on Driver Assistance Systems and Automated Driving (FAS) of the Uni-DAS e.V. took place at Kloster Irsee. As part of the “Human Factors” session, the IAD presented key results from the real-world laboratory study for the Campus FreeCity project.

Under the title “Design Recommendations for Operation Centre HMIs in Automated Fleet Operations: A Field Study from the Campus FreeCity Project”, Sarah Schwindt-Drews presented the findings from the test subject studies in the CityBot real-world laboratory

The FAS workshop is an established platform for interdisciplinary exchange between research and industry on current developments in the field of driver assistance and automated driving. The IAD would like to thank the hosts for the excellent event and the interesting discussions.
