DfG project MiRoVA: Kick-off in Aachen
2025/04/02
The transition from manual to automated road traffic requires new perspectives on interaction and cooperation. The DFG research group MiRoVA has started its interdisciplinary work with a successful kick-off.

The kick-off meeting of the DFG research group MiRoVA – Migration of Road Vehicle Automation took place on 28 March 2025. This laid the foundation for interdisciplinary research into the gradual integration of automated vehicles into the overall transport system. The focus is particularly on human-centred interaction and cooperation in mixed-automated traffic systems. In addition to the Institute of Automotive Engineering and the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors at TU Darmstadt, the five project partners include RWTH Aachen University with the Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics, TU Munich with the Chair of Ergonomics and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with the Institute of Transport Studies, who are working together on solutions for a safe and accepted transport future. We are looking forward to a successful collaboration in the MiRoVA project and to exciting impulses for a future-orientated traffic design.
