2024/10/07
IAD presents research results on perspectives of urban mobility, shared control in automated vehicle guidance, user-centred concepts of teleoperation and cooperation with automated vehicles
On September 24 and 25, 2024, the mid-term presentation of the project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) took place in Esslingen. The project aims to develop concepts and pilot applications for tomorrow's urban mobility. The event provided a platform for partners from industry and academia to present and discuss their research results with an expert audience and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the project companion TÜV Rheinland. The IAD was represented by the Human-Machine Interaction & Mobility research group. Felix Friedrich, Sarah Schwindt-Drews, Nina Theobald, Lisa Zeitler and Bettina Abendroth presented their research findings. Their work focuses on sustainable mobility concepts and the design of innovative HMI concepts for shared control in automated vehicle guidance, cooperation with automated vehicles in everyday traffic situations and interaction with passengers during teleoperated journeys.
The IAD would like to thank all project partners and guests for their valuable contributions to the successful exchange and looks forward to further collaboration.
