70th GfA Spring Congress with contributions from IAD

Over 380 participants came together from March 6-8, 2024 at the 70th Spring Congress of the Society for Ergonomics on the university campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen for knowledge transfer in applied work research. Current research results and use cases were presented and experiences and design approaches were discussed under the guiding theme of “Work science in the loop: human-technology integration and its impact on people, work and work design”.

The Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IAD) was represented at the spring congress by eight research assistants and the interim director of the institute, Dr. Bettina Abendroth.
