Steering Committee Meeting of the Competence Centre for Work and Artificial Intelligence (KompAKI) in Darmstadt

2023/11/28

On 8 and 9 November, the Competence Centre for Work and Artificial Intelligence (KompAKI) invited the project sponsor, all partners from research and industry and the members of the advisory board to the first face-to-face meeting of the steering committee in Darmstadt.

A total of 36 members of the project consortium met on 8 November at Technical University of Darmstadt and on 9 November at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences to discuss the potential, impact and concrete design of human-centric AI systems.

During the meeting, the current project status since the last steering committee meeting was presented and discussed. A particular focus was placed on the presentation of the numerous transfer measures with which the project results are to be transferred into regional business practice. Participants were given the opportunity to familiarise themselves with various workshop and lab tour concepts as well as digital methods and to provide their colleagues with valuable feedback.

The meeting was supplemented by guided tours of the learning environments at Technical University of Darmstadt and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and many opportunities to deepen the day's discussions and make new contacts.

The project managers would like to thank all those involved from TU Darmstadt and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences for their great support and active participation in this successful meeting.
