Documentation of User Characteristic

Below you will find all important information about the selected method. For further information, please contact the responsible person via the contact button on the right.

In order to be able to take into account the individual differences of users in the design of work systems, work equipment and products, the characteristics of the persons for whom the system is to be designed are determined at the beginning of a human-centred design process. These characteristics refer to the individual constitution and disposition of the working person as well as to their qualification and competence.

For this purpose, in addition to questionnaires, various test procedures are used, such as vision tests to determine resolution ability, colour vision, stereoscopic resolution ability and hearing tests.

In addition to the conventional anthropometer, a body scanner is used to determine anthropometric measurements.
