Jonas Walter

Research Associate

Jonas Walter graduated with a master’s degree in neuroscience from the International Max Planck Research School | Eberhard Karls University Tübingen. Before that he successfully completed a bachelor course in psychology in Tübingen. Based on his studies he set his focus on User Experience, the cognitive processes of human decision making and psychophysiological methods such as eye tracking and electroencephalography (EEG).

Since 2015 he is a research associate at the IAD in the research group Human Machine Interaction & Mobility. After working on the integration of usability methods into software development during the Projekt Usability in Mittelstandsanwendungen (PUMa), Jonas Walter has been occupied with the design of self-determined data protection in the car for the project “Self-determined privacy in the connected car” (SeDaFa) since 2016. As a doctoral student, he researches the influence of self-determined privacy control on the acceptance of connected services in the car.
