

Research Associate
Philip Joisten studied industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering at the TU Darmstadt. He specialized on ergonomics, technology and innovation management. In his master thesis he investigated the driving enjoyment and driving experience of different traffic participants.
Since May 2018 he is a research associate at IAD and is part of the Human-Machine Interaction & Mobility research group. In the project @City he studies the interaction between automated vehicles and other traffic participants.
From November 2022, he leads the research group Human & Organization.
