On July 15, 2025, the annual “Pro.Motion” doctoral student day took place at AUDI AG's Ingolstadt site, where AUDI AG's internal and external doctoral students present their research projects to company representatives and professors. The motto of this year's event was “Next Generation Innovation”.

After a welcome and acknowledgement of the AUDI doctoral network by high-ranking company representatives from AUDI AG, exciting pitches, a poster exhibition and in-depth deep-dive sessions on the diverse research projects followed. The IAD was represented with a contribution by Josefine Emmel as a cooperation doctoral student of AUDI AG and presented the contents of the research project launched in April 2024, which addresses the prevention of performance changes in assembly workers. Apl. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bettina Abendroth was also on site as acting head of the institute and discussed new impulses for future research collaborations together with AUDI AG.

Every year, the event provides a framework for the important professional exchange between science and industry on pioneering research topics.
