2024/10/07
Automated driving is being investigated together with the Institute of Automotive Engineering (TU Darmstadt) and partners from Munich, Karlsruhe and Aachen under the leadership of RWTH Aachen University.
Bettina Abendroth is involved in a new research group funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)! The research group “MiRoVA – Migration of Road Vehicle Automation” with the participation of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank O. Flemisch (RWTH Aachen), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Steven Peters (TU Darmstadt), Prof. Dr. phil. Klaus Bengler (TU Munich) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Vortisch (KIT) is concerned with the transition from human-guided to automated road traffic in the long term. In addition to the integration of (partially) automated vehicles into the traffic system, the research group is primarily concerned with the human-centered perspective of interaction and cooperation with various automation variants.
