Completion of the BMBF-funded research project “CyberTech”

2024/06/24

The final meeting of the “CyberTech” research project took place at the Schenck Technology and Industrial Park on June 6, 2024.

During the event the consortium presented the achieved results and discussed the applicability of the developed concepts and demonstrators in an interactive world café setting.

The goal of this research project was to redesign work in product development by using new, AI-driven engineering processes. The research centered on the Advanced Systems Engineering (ASE) approach, which provides new ways of designing intelligent, connected, and socio-technical systems. The use of ASE creates new demands and requirements for future product development, which are often associated with wide-ranging changes for organizations and people. For this reason, the IAD focused on developing work design concepts for skill development and work organization. Concepts were researched, developed, and applied within companies from the industrial, automotive, and medical technology sectors.

The IAD team would like to thank the consortium partners for the valuable collaboration and wishes them all the best.
