Data collection for the evaluation of a novel exoskeleton from Hilti AG

From 04.10.2023 to 10.10.2023, IAD conducted trials to evaluate a new type of exoskeleton being developed by Hilti AG to support users in carrying out chiselling work.
The trials took place at the Kaufering plant of Hilti AG. Under controlled conditions, objective and subjective data were collected to assess the physiological stress of the 15 test persons. Despite the high organisational effort, the measurements were completed without major complications thanks to the excellent planning on the part of Hilti and the research group Work Assessment & Workplace Design of IAD.
