Publications at the AHFE International Conference 2023 in San Francisco

IAD presented five contributions at the 14th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics (AHFE 2023).

From July 20 to 24, the 14th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics (AHFE 2023) was held as a hybrid conference in San Francisco (USA). The Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IAD) was represented both on-site in San Francisco and online with five papers from two research groups.

The contributions of Oliwia Karasek and Yusuf Arslanparcasi from the research group Human & Organization was dedicated to the didactic conception of a teaching and learning lab in Systems Engineering as well as the importance of Well-Being in the organizational culture.

From the research group Human-Machine Interaction & Mobility, Sarah Schwindt presented the requirements for the design and organization of an Operation Center for automated vehicle fleets as well as the results of a study on the adaptation of the Situation Awareness Global Assessment Technique and Nina Theobald presented the results of a test track study investigating the influence of perceived anthropomorphism of vehicles on pedestrians’ crossing decisions.
